Story Submissions
Story submissions are any story idea a prospective client wishes ModernVision Productions to consider. These ideas are for, but not limited to, feature films, short films, music videos, made for TV movies, television pilots, webisodes, feature documentaries, short documentaries, feature animation, short animation, and script writing services.
Policy:
Although we are willing to hear any new interesting story ready to make its way from logline to exhibition, it is ModernVision Productions' policy not to accept or consider unsolicited material (synopsis, outlines, beat sheets, treatments, or screenplays) other than those we specifically request. If you send unsolicited material without request, your material will be discarded without review. However, ModernVision Productions will accept query letters from those with serious request only. We cannot promise your query letter will continue to the next stage. You will receive notification via post, email, or phone if your idea is accepted or denied. Your query letter must be concise and contain your logline. Your CV/Resume pertaining to your writing skills, a list of production credits printed on the reverse side of your CV/Resume (if any), and a sample scene (4 to 7 pages) or short film screenplay must accompany your query letter. If ModernVision Productions deems your idea worthy of interest for further investigation, you will be contacted by ModernVision Productions requesting your one-page synopsis. If we decide we like your synopsis, we will request your script for consideration. Please allow 3 to 6 weeks for us to review your material. You may send your submissions via e-mail.
Commercial & Promotional Submissions
Commercial & Promotional submissions are general production services ModernVision Productions will consider without a query letter, however, through general enquiry via contact form. These submissions should be concise, and have appropriate contact information for a likely response. These services are for, but not limited to the following:
•Television commercials, website commercials, promotion productions (business promotions, promotional television spots, actor showreels, model showreels, dance showreels, circus performer showreels, or athletic showreels), corporate videos, private videos (weddings videos, memorial tribute videos), post production services (sound mixing, automated dialogue replacement, Foley mixing, audio mastering) live music recording services, studio music recording services, live DJ mixing services, recorded DJ mixing services, and still photography services (landscape, portrait, nature, interpretive, abstract, urban, headshots, comp cards, and body shots).
Educational Submissions
Educational submissions are for prospective students enquiring about courses. ModernVision Productions will consider general concise enquires via contact form. Prior to acceptance into the training institution, a prospective applicant will be interviewed by a teaching member of the staff or business liaison. Depending on course level and talent level, a prospective student may also be asked to prepare a monologue prior to official acceptance into a course.
